NFT (non-fungible token) started out in 2012 as Colored Coins, became mainstream in late 2017 with CryptoKitties and now in 2021, a piece of NFT artwork by famed digital artist Mike "Beeple" Winkelmann entitled EVERYDAYS: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS sold for $69.3 million. To say interest in NFTs are skyrocketing would be a little bit of an understatement.
